Sometimes we are lucky enough to work with a family who really makes us feel the love. This was the case with The Haldys. Last year I first spoke with Carol Haldy (Catherine's Mom), when she expressed to me just how much she liked the makeup for another bride that I had done. She wanted a natural look for her daughter, and was worried that since they were not big makeup wearers that they would be uncomfortable. So, I did my best to put their minds at ease and in exchange, they did their best to make me feel comfortable in their lovely home on their most important of days. So, imagine my delight when the day after the wedding I received this email from Carol.

 

Dear Emily,

I was just looking at some of the early pictures of yesterday's wonderful wedding - your handiwork was amazing!!!  Catherine and the bridesmaids were "easy" subjects and they looked wonderful.  I, on the other hand, was not and you honestly made me look better than I could!!! I felt so "beautiful" the entire wedding and the makeup lasted all evening, even through wild dancing.

I will recommend you to everyone - you were not only really talented and wonderful at what you do - but as the girls were saying, you are a really sweet person - making the day all the more wonderful.Please use me as a reference!!!
