SHIRI & ORIN
May 24th, 2009
Since it has been peak season pretty much since this date, I figured that now is as good a time as any to do a posting on this beautiful couple. Their photographer
Aaron Almendral was so awesome in getting me these knockout photos-- my apologies to him for not getting them up here sooner!!

I love the different shades of reds in the girls dresses.
I was first contacted by Shiri's Mother Orna to set up all of the details of the trial for both hair and makeup. So
Natalie Pagano and I both met with Shiri on the same day for her trial. Natalie is always so fun to work with-- and a very talented hairstylist to boot!

And did we ever have fun that day! We each traveled to Orna's home in Northern Liberties to set up shop there on the day of her daughter's wedding. Her apartment was one of the most incredible places I have ever seen! Her place doubles as her studio, and you can see by the beading on Shiri's beautiful dress just how talented she is.

Shiri is also quite the superstar-- she works at a law firm in NY. I just love the color of her eyes-- and they are not contacts folks! Shiri wanted a very natural look, so I applied a dark brown eyeshadow along her lash line with a shadow liner brush. The eyeshadow colors were by Chanel called Shimmering Dunes. I also kept the rest of the look simple by applying very little foundation and just a pop of color on the lips. By doing this, it makes the eyes the focus, and that is just what is called for.

Shiri's family was there from Israel to help celebrate, so the place was full of joy and love and laughter! You can tell by the photos that this was a wonderful wedding! The reception was at Zahav Restaurant in Philadelphia.

Best Wishes to the entire family! Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your special day!
