Jocelyn & Peter Dec. 30, 2009

Jocelyn & Peter October 17th, 2009 Jocelyn contacted me back in the summer to see if I could give her a makeup lesson, so that she could recreate the look herself for her wedding in Harrisburg. She was so pleased with the look that… flash forward to October and I was now doing makeup for Jocelyn in Harrisburg!...
Now driving in the driving rain on the PA Turnpike was not so fun. But, Jocelyn and her bridesmaids… FUN! These ladies were some of the sweetest girls that I have ever had the pleasure to work with. We talked about the rain, red dresses, San Francisco and clean towels. Anyway, you get the idea… fun!
I was excited to get the opportunity to work with Ryan Estes. Although, I had met Ryan and we were "Facebook" friends, I never had the pleasure to see him work. And in he walked with Mark Gardner -- these two were powerhouses! Not sure if Jocelyn knew just how lucky she was to have these two amazing photographers by her side, but I am pretty sure that she does now. Check out these photos!

This one below is my favorite!

For Jocelyn's makeup: I used Pro Lumiere
Foundation by Chanel to create that "flawless" look. The eye shadows that I
used on her were Chahut by Chanel, as well as a duo by Nars called
Cheyenne. I lined the eyes with Black Waterproof eyeliner, then
went over it with a liquid line. Applied Waterproof mascara, then
Ardell individual lashes. On the cheeks is Madly, and Laguna both by
Nars. The lipcolor is Chanel's infamous Nude lipliner, paired with Violet Sapphire long wear lip color.
And the best compliment of all was
when Jocelyn emailed me to say that her makeup stayed put through a
torrential downpour. Good to know :)
